How To Use Server Browser And Join Games Of Internet And Custom Tabs (Currently For Version 1.0.1.4)


 

For some people, they may not have good connection to see the "Friends Playing"  List at the Bottom-Left Cormer
But don't worry.
Follow this Step-By-Step Guide And you will be Joining many servers.

Here at the Server Browser go to the "Lan' Tab and you can join a server.

Using the server brower you can join many other games without the worries of people always saying "how come I dont see the list of games in the lobby"
Even if they are certain and sure they have 1.0.1.4 upated patch. And Alot of days now, all servers are always full and no versus games, but there are hundreds of games in the Internet and Custom tabs in the Server Browser. So here is an easy guide.
Here's a Layed Down Detail on The Server Browser.

The "Lan"Tab shows the list of Servers of  what People are hosting On Garena, If you start game from Garena.
If no one is Hosting, then use the "Internet" and "Custom" Tabs.
maybe many people tried to join games from the "Internet" And "Custom" Tabs.

Ad gets the Steam Validatin Rejected Message, That is Because is has the Icon Shield Next to It, VAC Secure Server.
there are over 1000 servers in both of the tabs. But try the server that dont have the VAC Shield, and you might be able to join.

Follow This Guide and, it will make only the non-steam servers appear. So you will be Garunteed to Join any server in the "internet' And "Custom" tabs.

When no-one is hosting on Garena, always try the Internet and Custom tabs, in the Server Browser, there are always Servers 24/7


Follow This Guide

1: Go to you Left 4 Dead folder. Go to Left 4 Dead/left4dead/resource/UI/L4D360UI/

Now there are two files you need to set up. mainmenu.res and mainmenu_serverbrowser.res
rename the mainmenu.res to mainmenu.res.original and rename the mainmenu_serverbrowser.res to mainmenu.res

2. Save this file to your desktop

and then go to Left 4 Dead/bin/Config and then now rename the masterservers.vdf to masterservers.vdf.original now put the masterservers.vdf from your desktop to that folder with the masterservers.vdf.original Then right click the mastervers.vdf and go to Properties, and check and make it Read-Only and click apply and click ok.


3. This is to better help people who has problems seeing the "Friends Playing List" Bottom left corner of game menu, so they can just click the "Lan" tab and better see the list of Garena Users Games, But if all games are full and no versus games, then Click the "Internet" and or "Custom" tabs and you can join games there. Just not the games with the VAC Shield, those are legit Steams, but you can join many other servers.
Making your own Custom IP Server name.

With the setup Guide I Posted, this gives you the chance to make your own Customized Server name. Like mines, "connect left4deadnemesis.servegame.com"
go to no-ip.com and register and make a name and manage make new host, and make a name for your ip. and your all set.
